Welcome to Legacy Women Institute International.

I am Dr. Melody Cofield and I am the founder of Legacy Women Institute International.  I created the Institute after years of experience helping organizations and individuals explode their potential. Over the years, I found women have unique perspectives, needs, talents, and gifts that require an entirely different approach to achieving success. For this reason, the Institute was conceived to address and provide programs, education, and marketing support unique to the needs of women.  There were several reasons for establishing a new enterprise, among the most important are:

• Women represent a creative and underutilized resource for addressing community, social, and global issues.
• The current climate of confusion and uncertainty lacks the balance and active participation of women in decision-making roles that shape our lives and society.
• Without balanced-gender leadership, we inhibit local, national, and global progress.
• Given the opportunity and support, women can forge legacies that can change the world.

For all these reasons, the Institute was founded to focus the brainpower, perspective, and leadership of women to address 21st Century issues. As one of our Legacy Education Forums, we are launching our first annual Susan B. Anthony Conference & Expo October. Our theme: Be the Legacy: Women changing the future, will encourage women all over the world to continue the work of the groundbreaking women before them as they learn to align passion and purpose with creative ventures and initiatives that can transform the world.
