Each corn seed has the potential to become a tasty popcorn but it will remain a seed until it is transformed with just the right exposure to heat or nurtured by soil. Personal transformation is a necessary component for change and change is a necessary component for personal transformation. If we fail to embrace change, we remain like corn seeds, unchanged, hard, and stale. The seed can also loose its potential to grow if it waits too long before it is nurtured. The same thing applies to us when we resist change for too long. Eventually we block our ability to explode our inner potential.
Nature gave the corn seed a hard shell to protect its inner potential until it is planted in soil and nurtured with water. Only then can it grow. When you are struck by the heat of the right opportunity, don’t resist, allow yourself to be transformed. Most people wait until times are unbearable and then they are forced to accept change. Make change a natural part of your life. It would be great if we had a machine that could POP human potential. Instead, by embracing change, we have can have our very own built-in machine ready to POP our potential. I love POPCORN. How about you? Let’s go POP some!
This Thai Pantene television commercial brilliantly makes the CORN SEED vs POPCORN point. Watch it and enjoy.
