Two of the major challenges that women face in their development as leaders in the workforce pertain to work-life balance and lack of role models. In this interactive session, we will explore real compelling and innovative solutions designed to help women overcome these challenges and empower them to operate at their full potential.
Personal Productivity and the Power of Now – Dr. Cofield
A brief overview and sampling of the 1½ day Personal Productivity Program designed to provide a set of innovative work practices so that leaders are more focused and productive, have a new ability to juggle competing priorities and demands, and are able to increase their own effectiveness in delivering project deadlines and timelines. The program helps participants learn how to schedule themselves and their commitments so that they are able to focus all of their attention, creativity, and natural ability on what is important to them and the corporation.
Building a Strategic & Sustainable Innovation Culture – Dr. Gabrielle Bedewi
In the past, innovations were primarily associated with the development of new products and technologies. However, strategic innovations that generate ongoing competitive advantage are currently being applied in the development of new service offerings, business models, pricing plans, go-to-market strategies, and new management practices; thus transforming each step of an organization’s value chain. This session will explore several myths related to innovation, illustrate the drivers of sustainable innovation and present examples of practical business innovations that are being implemented for several organizations’ offerings and processes, the customers they serve, and the channels of distribution that are being employed in taking these products and services to market.
